Why Does Green Roads Test Products?

Green Roads tests products in order to give our customers the peace of mind they deserve. Anyone buying a Green Roads product has access to the independent lab reports that verify the product has been tested for pesticides, heavy metals, solvents and more. These reports also verify that each product contains the expected amount of cannabinoids. Our co-founder Laura Fuentes spent 25+ years as a licensed compound pharmacist. Her experience serving her community and her dedication to the well-being of her customers is foundational to Green Roads’ quality control standards. She simply wouldn’t allow it to be any other way.

How Our Products are Tested

In order to ensure transparency and accountability in our testing, we work with an independent testing facility called Kaycha Labs. Kaycha is an ISO (International Organization for Standardization)-certified lab. This means it meets an international standard for testing practices and overall procedures. As a third-party entity, it operates totally independently of Green Roads. We have Kaycha do two tests - one on our raw materials and a second on our finished goods. We will not sell a product that does not pass the testing on both levels.

Green Roads sends each batch of its finished goods to Kaycha labs for testing before they hit the shelves. Kaycha uses the latest in analytical testing methods to deliver a full profile of what’s in each product.

What We Test For

Green Roads has its products tested against a variety of criteria. First of all, we’re verifying potency. We want to make sure that we’re delivering consistent levels of hemp-derived cannabinoids. Furthermore, it’s important to make sure our THC levels are less than 0.0mg in our broad spectrum hemp products and less than 0.3% THC in our full spectrum hemp products.

We refuse to sell any product that doesn’t meet our standards. After Kaycha tests our product, we make that resulting lab sheet available to customers via QR codes on every product’s package.
